Sustainability: a framework that actively involves internal and external stakeholders to transform the current value proposition into a sustainable perspective, evaluating the internal and external impacts of the organization
Lean Decision Quality: the method for developing the idea, defining the right direction and the strategy that allows us to maximize the value of our investment, involve people and create shared value among as many stakeholders as possible. Furthermore, LDQ is used to develop a culture based on the principles of Trust, Respect and Responsibility
Design Thinking: the method to understand the motivation behind the choices, behaviors and actions of individuals and organizations to put people back at the centre of the creation

The core process of the Virtuous Cycle of Sustainability® starts by identifying the problem/opportunity, from a sustainable perspective, and by then defining the new Value Proposition, the impacts and consistency with the existing corporate identity and strategy.
Inspiration phase is divided into Three steps:
- Explore: an exploratory phase is launched on how to improve products / processes / strategies / business models from a sustainable perspective. The exploration process at this stage can be top-down or bottom-up.
- Define Goal: the definition and structuring of the sustainable objective – new Value Proposition – carry on, the internal and external impacts to the organization and the possible Customer engagement
- Creating Empathy: : during this step you connect with the end users in their environment to know the details of their experience, trying to find what they need or might need
During this phase you define your strategic directions, the scope and dimension of the project, its frame, influenced functions, processes, who to involve.
Goal setting and definition of its frame is used as a starting point to define alternatives strategies. The multidisciplinary Dream Team, determined following the type of objective (strategic-tactical-operational) to be achieved, through a brainstorming process will generate alternative ways to the starting one, for value creation
At this stage, start a process of collecting reliable information on the alternatives generated and an analysis and synthesis of the various options begins, to compare their values (attractiveness, profitability, sustainable impact) and risks. We choose those that can lead to solutions for creating shared value.
LOOP Ideation – Evaluation
The best solutions are once again analyzed, prototyped and tested to gather other information. The alternatives, enriched by these new information addressing unsatisfied needs, are re-examined to choose the best solution (alternative), thus allowing the design conception process to continue to get to the final goals. The solution is then shared with all those taking part in the process and offered to the Decision Makers.
The last phase consists in defining a strategic plan and implementing a concrete action plan. Decision makers commit to the allocation of the human and financial resources needed to implement the sustainability plan. If the chosen solution involves large investments, you can start by implementing the project in steps (to reduce risks), always having the end in mind.
